Mission Statement
New Salem Baptist Church is a body of believers gathered to glorify God by reaching out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to seek the spiritual, moral, and physical uplift of its members and the community at large.

New Salem Baptist Church has always had an "open door" policy. From the time of beginnings of the old Santa Fe and Oregon Trails, our church had the motto: "Travelers Stop with Us." Today, our church opens its doors to a changing community. A community which was once rural in nature is transitioning into a multi-faceted urban church.
